Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Great crust, great tasting ingredients This is a blue collar pizza joint with some heart. $5 special 2 slices and a pop is the best deal in town. The $18, 2 pizzas and a 2 liter is awesome if you gotta feed your herd. The sauce is sweet enough that all my kids will eat it. Most likely some futbol rolling on the 1980s TV while you wait. Al may take a minute away from finishing your pie to swear at the tele if the wrong team scores but "forget about it!" If you need everyone in the joint to say please and thank you and how is your wine...go to Pezzo. Its friggin delicious too. You want a hard working guy to make you a kick butt NY style pie for a fair price and talk about some futbol or football while you wait...come to Pinos. Tip:Take it to go unless its nice out. A few small tables outside. 1 small one inside but you will be in the way of the take out patrons

I like their pizza but when you have a coupon for all they will do is is say that's the delivery fee. So we paid full price and it was good pizza . Not as good a pizzeria pezzo that place is awesome but no delivery.

Pino's is simply awesome pizza. We live in the area and love to frequent this place. The owner delivered to our house himself one time just to see who we were. This is New York style pizza with a superb crust. There have been many other pizza places in this location and Pino's is here to stay.

I love Pino's, but you should know that my opinion of a place is based mostly on its food. I don't care a lot about atmosphere or even whether the cooks and servers wear gloves. I just love good food, and this is some of the best. It's a unique place with its own flair, and the specials are great prices. The lunch special is $5 for two slices and a can of soda, but my favorite is the two pizzas and 2 liter for $18. That one feeds the family and leaves leftovers. Also, you actually can eat at Pino's but the seating is VERY limited and fairly uncomfortable. You should probably think of this as take out. And then you should sink your teeth into some really good pie.

This is the best pizza I've had, ever. I've eaten pizza from all across the country, in about 15 different states but this takes the cake. Its traditional New York style pizza, I always get the lunch special whenever possible because for the price it is one heck a deal. Something about the sauce that he makes along with the perfect blend of cheese just makes you want to put back slice after slice. Another important aspect of this pizzeria is the environment, tucked away in a corner in a residential area, hardly any seating but enough if you can't take it home for some reason and most importantly the owner that seems to work there about every day who is friendly and talks about how he used to drink 6 cans of Mountain Dew a day until he became to big or other random stories.

This is just good pizza. It's unpretentious and common, just how pizza should be. You can tell its handmade and fresh -- from the unevenness of the crust to the fresh flour streaks and char-marks. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful! Overall, the price is good and the taste is great. I'm not sure if this would be my go-to pizza place in the area yet, but I will definitely pick some up again sometime.

Plain & Simple: This place has the BEST pizza I've ever tasted. Too bad I'm not from here (just on vacation) otherwise I'd be here everyday (No, I'm not kidding).

I will say first, that the crust is amazing, and i love it. That being said... The first time I got pizza for my husband, just a pepperoni pizza, I arrived and it was ready, but very hot. The owner was pleasant and kind. I went back to get another pizza. This time I was a little early, so my pizza wasn't done yet, which is fine. But the man who took my money was rude and unprofessional. He and the owner argued about having to charge me more for the alfredo pizza that I had asked for as part of my meal, which is fine, I knew it would be more, but the argument made me feel awkward. The owner appeared to be in a very bad mood and once the pizzas were in the oven, he stormed out. The two remaining employees talked about how grumpy he was. Luckily my pizza was done just as the owner was returning. That experience was awkward. Plus there's no real place to remain waiting, the seating area is two tables a couple chairs, and there is a trash can right next to one of the chairs. I had to wait outside, which is fine, but in the winter it would be bad. I don't care for the marinara sauce either, it doesn't look as if the tomatoes are peeled before making it, which leaves you all the bits of skin in the sauce. And the sausage is SPICY. There was no warning for that at all. I won't be returning.

This place has ok pizza but it could use some changes. ~ they handled food and money without gloves and without washing their hands. ~ The one guy who was prepping olives was also eating them while he did the prep ~ The owner told everyone out loud how the sausage was the freshest around. Only trouble is. On the pizza you can hurt your eyes looking for the meat. ~ medium 12 inch pizza, moderate tip equals $18. Let's face it, for $18 that should be one kick ass pizza. Unfortunately, it wasn't. ~ Oh one more thing. I see the preferred counter (Where the pizza is cut) cleaning method is to just swipe it on to the floor. I kept an open mind. But there are just too many fixes that add up to a pretty long list of shortcomings...

Amazing delivery or takeout pizza! Authentic, interesting specialty pizzas, and delicious!! The owner is the baker, and he's from Italy. Fresh ingredients, light and delicious crust, delightful service. Not much of a store front and I think there's only one table inside, but the food is amazing. The shrimp pizza is my favorite and love having fresh basil on top of other varieties! Pino's is a real treat!

The pizza is still amazing--when the unfriendly red headed stepchild--doesn't burn it. I don't expect too much from a dive, but there's no need to be an unpleasant jerk. Did I catch him on a bad day? Nope, he's always been like that the past 4 visits! Smile and stop looking like I'm asking you to find Jimmy Hoffa's body when all I asked for is a Coke.

I can't say enough good things about this place! If it's lunch time, I take advantage of the $5 special, otherwise for dinner, the chicken penne is the way to go! There are the settle differences in the taste that makes this such a stand out place. The owner is friendly and very personable and loves what he does. This place is truly an awesome place!

Since writing my last review, I have returned several thousand times. Pino once commented that I hadn't been there in a "long time for [me]." The lunch special makes Pino's arguably the best noontime destination in all of the Eastern Shire. Two slices of pizza and a soda for 5 dollars. Every time I've been there, they've had cheese, sausage, pepperoni, and a vegetarian-oriented alternative. And they cut the pies into 6 slices, not the standard 8, which makes it even more of a temptation for me. Yesterday at work I wanted to order pizza and was out of their delivery range, and it was at that moment that I realized exactly how much this little place means to my taste buds. Also, if you're concerned about the rampant gang violence in White Bear, arriving between noon and 1 will ensure that at least two police officers will be there to protect you. The men in uniform must know, as I do, that Pino is truly a green zone in the battlefield that is Ramsey county.

This pizza ranks near the top of the best pizza I've ever had in my life. No joke. I love everything about it. The crust is perfect, the sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and the cheese and toppings are amazing.

Awesome! That sums up the quality of this pizza in one word. We ordered from them for the first time tonight, and we will definitely be ordering from them again!

We ordered Pino's for dinner Friday night and really enjoyed our pizza! Probably the best we've had in the area so far (except for Red's Savoy of course). We tried the Sicilian pizza (salami, pepperoni, red onion, green olives, and roasted red peppers) and an order of the cheese bread. The bread was very thick - think 3-inch thick slices of a baguette with cheese on top. Hubs loved the marinara that came with for dipping. The pizza was tasty however it was greasy and salty (I blame the meat & olives). It reheated well the next day as well. I also liked the crust which is saying something. I'm not much of a crust girl normally. We will order again for sure! The price is right and there's some other pizza combinations I want to try.

So my friend (a New Yorker) and I made an hour plus drive to Pino's to try out the New York style pizza after reading reviews on yelp. Let me tell you this.. When you walk through the front door of this little shop, you FEEL like you're walking out of Minnesota, and directly into New York City. The owner Al.. Is from Cicely, and his wonderful accent proves it! He is a master at his craft, let me tell you!! We decided to try a slice first to make sure it's what my New Yorker friend and I hoped would be a fantastic recreation of a New York pie.. And before we were done chewing the first bite.. We ordered two 16" cheese pies to go.. And finished the first pie sitting there talking to the guys.. This pizza is seriously fantastic.. And for a native New Yorker who is a New York pizza aficionado.. That is saying a LOT!! If you crave New York pizza.. Or just want a seriously good pie.. Check this amazing place out!!!!

So glad this restaurant is in my neighborhood! I would've never anticipated such quality pizza in White Bear Lake. I think it is hands down the best pizza in the metro area. Chewy crust and simple sauce. The pizza and appetizers are excellent. I haven't tried the pasta yet. This is my go to carryout pizza when we're craving a slice or have out of town guests. Everyone has raved about it thus far! The owner is also the chef. He is friendly, funny and hard-working. You can tell he really cares about the quality of his food and appreciates his customers. I would recommend carryout or delivery as there is no seating on the inside other than one small table. In the summer there are several tables outside. Support this local gem!

Pino's Pizza & Pasta in WBL is as authentic as it gets! The owner is from Palermo, Sicily and clearly doesn't take short-cuts in quality or taste. Plus, you can't beat their specials - especially for Vikings games! The place is kind of small, so it's best to take-out or have them deliver - but there are a couple of places to eat it there if you want. Give it a go - you won't regret it!
